Anna, a young New Yorker, is overcome with grief after her best friend and roommate Izzy suddenly dies. Anna struggles to cope with her grief and becomes fixated on finding Booger, the stray cat that she and Izzy took care of together. When she finally tracks down the cat, an unexpected bite on her hand triggers a bizarre and disturbing transformation, causing Anna to gradually take on more cat-like characteristics.

With a unique blend of horror, humor, and heart, Booger transforms the mundane into the macabre and delivers a deeply human exploration of love, loss, and the strange ways we deal with pain.
