Skåne is under threat! The wealthy capitalist Jean Volkswagner and his entourage arrive in the scenic Änglamark to buy up the land and build a giant amusement park for German tourists—Deutschneyland! But the resistance from inventor Severin and his family is tougher than they could have imagined. They stand ready to fight the excavators with cunning, imagination, magic, and a pee-loving giant!

With their roots in Swedish folklore, Hasse & Tage created a wonderfully funny and clever protest against the concrete pandemic and environmental destruction. Hasse Alfredson plays Severin and is surrounded by names such as Gösta Ekman, Monica Zetterlund, Birgitta Andersson, Tage Danielsson, Max von Sydow, and Martin Ljung.

The story is accompanied by the fantastic folk song by Evert Taube, who wrote the beloved melody Änglamark especially for the film.
