Brahim is a young man with a big secret he wants to reveal: he is gay. A secret he must hide from his family, as the culture he comes from would never accept his sexual orientation. During his mother's birthday celebration, which could have been a suitable occasion to take the first steps towards coming out, the bad mood becomes a reality when the question is once again raised in veiled terms. Frustrated, Brahim leaves his oppressive family and heads out into Brussels' nightlife, where a horrific encounter awaits him.

Inspired by real events and with long, uninterrupted shots, Belgian director Nabil Ben Yadir has created a terrifying story that feels shocking at times, as the events are shown from both the victim's and the perpetrator's perspective.
