In AMERICAN ASSASSIN, we follow young Mitch Rapp, who, after losing his girlfriend in a terrorist attack, embarks on a violent manhunt to seek justice and take revenge on the terrorists in a global network. The CIA follows Rapp's progress and he becomes part of their secret agent program Orion and is trained by the hard-boiled CIA instructor Stan Hurley. But before Rapp completes his training, he and Hurley are sent on a critical mission to track down 15 kilograms of weapons-grade plutonium and stop the terrorist Ghost, who is threatening to start a new world war.
