Sale price579 kr

Jabez Stone is a hard-working farmer who tries to earn his living in an honest way, but a series of unfortunate events leads him to do the unthinkable: make a deal with the devil himself. In exchange for seven years of happiness, Stone promises "Mr. Scratch" his soul. But when the troubled farmer begins to realize that his choice was wrong, he enlists the help of the only man who can save him: the legendary orator and politician Daniel Webster. Directed with stylish flair by William Dieterle, All That Money Can Buy brings Stephen Vincent Benét's classic novella to life with inspired imagery, an unforgettable, Oscar-winning film score by Bernard Herrmann, and a truly devilish performance by Walter Huston as the devil.
