In the dark of a stormy night, young boy David MacLean witnesses a flying saucer land in a sandpit in his small American town. It's not long before the adults, including his very own parents, appear changed. Desperate for help, David enlists physician Dr. Pat Blake and local astronomer Dr. Stuart Kelston to try and stop the invasion of the green, brainwashing monsters.
